Map of Africa Tanzania

Benzu Gold Limited is a mining and exploration company currently focussed on the exploration and development of gold properties in the highly prospective Handeni district in north-eastern Tanzania.

The Handeni district, though relatively unexplored to date, hosts a known gold-bearing belt where mineral deposits have been identified by artisanal miners. Benzu Gold acquired undeveloped properties in this area in January 2010 and has subsequently undertaken a first-stage exploration programme in order to define an initial resource.
